Original abstract

The study deals with the identification of demographic characteristics and differences in the location of stimulation fields in patients undergoing deep brain stimulation for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, who have experienced remission or a recurrence of gait disorders. Reprogramming the stimulation parameters based on identified good and bad stimulation areas does not lead to an improvement in gait, but predictive models can statistically significantly predict gait disorders in individual patients based on stimulation parameters.
