Original abstract

Mindestens jeder zehnte Patient mit einem idiopathischen Parkinson-Syndrom (IPS) entwickelt im Verlauf der Erkrankung motorische Komplikationen, die mit einer oralen Dopamin-Ersatztherapie nicht ausreichend behandelt werden können. Die subkutane Gabe von Apomorphin über eine Medikamentenpumpe führt zu einer kontinuierlichen dopaminergen Stimulation und einer deutlichen Verbesserung der Symptomatik.
